NYCC 2011 - New Transformers Universe Screenshots from Jagex Show Off Brawlers In Action; Female Bot Modes

Update: We have posted the screen grabs from the trailer as well as other character designs. Check out the gallery for all of them.

During our preview night at New York Comic Con 2011, we had the chance to see a trailer of the new Transformers Universe browser-based massively multiplayer online (MMO) game from Jagex and have some screenshots from the trailer. Like the previous two trailers, they are not in-game and are very stylized.

We were also able to speak with Jagex representatives during our New York Comic Con 2011 preview night where we learned that the game starts out on Earth but left open the possibility of moving onto other planets as well.

Each robot is very customizable as we saw during BotCon 2011, and each robot is able to level up in robot and vehicle modes.

In addition, Jagex told us that game's engine was built from scratch using Java and since it is browser-based, it will be for ages 13 and up.

We may also get to hear celebrity voice actors like Peter Cullen featured in this game.

Also, be happy that Humans will not really play a large role in this game this time around. So more robot mayhem.

Hit up the gallery for a highlight of the screenshots and the Source link for all of them.

Transformers Universe is set for a 2012 release for PC and Mac browsers.
